Reuben, Raul and Luther reach California where they discover that while it didn't really sink into the ocean as the Plex would have you believe, it is in fact mostly deserted. Finally meeting the mysterious Mr. K., Luther decides to head back to Chicago, Reuben decides to get drunk, and back in Chicago Mayor Krieger goes down in a hail of gunfire.
